Originally from Iran, Abdul has been a resident of Sharjah for an impressive 43 years. He is a businessman in the cosmetics and perfume industry. Their love for Sharjah centers around its safety, a quality they value the most. "My father arrived in Sharjah in 1954 and used to work in food trading." The family's long standing connection to Sharjah adds a layer of heritage to their experience in the city.

Joshua has been a resident of Sharjah for 6 years. As a barista, he finds Sharjah to be a main hub and the first place that truly felt like home. What he loves most is its homely and quiet atmosphere, along with the warm and comforting presence of the people.

Catherine has made Sharjah her home for the past 5 years. As a school principal, she appreciates the laid-back vibe, vibrant art and culture scene, and the local people who value a quieter and slower pace of life. She describes the community as the nicest she has encountered during her time in the Emirates.

Aqual relocated to Sharjah in 1991. He currently works at the Sharjah Art Institution. Reflecting on his connection to the city, he says, "It's my village, my home, my world."
